Eritrean referees selected for AFCON 2023 encounter qualifier tie in Uganda

The Confederation of African Football Associations (CAF) has selected four Eritrean match officials to be in-charge of a qualifier match in the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023.
The officials will be in-charge of a Group F match between Uganda and Niger on June 8th, 2022 at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Tsegay Mogos Mogos Teklu has been appointed as the centre referee, while Eyobel Michael and Sirak Samuel Menghis will be the assistant referees. Idris Mohammed Osman will be the reserve referee.
Eritrea did not enter the national team in the qualifiers for the AFCON 2023. Nations from the CECAFA region that will play in the group stage of the qualifiers include; Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan.
