Goitom’s AiK Struggling in Swedish Premier League
Aik Football Club, home to Eritrea’s skipper Henok Goitom are facing tough times in the 2019/2020 Swedish Football League (Allsvenskan).

Aik will return to action on Sunday hoping to collect maximum points against Haeken FC to improve their standing on the log. Last Sunday they picked a deserving 2-0 win against Helsingborg FC.
The 36-year old Goitom who also skippers and plays a pivotal role in the team has this season managed to score five goals. Ghana’s duo of Ebenezer Ofori and Enoch Kofi Adu are the other two African players featuring for Aik.
Malmö who have won a record 23 titles in the Swedish League are top of the log with 38 points, while Eifsborg FC are second with 31 points collected.
