Free entrance for Cecafa U-15 Challenge Cup semis

The Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF) and the Council of East and Central African Football Associations (Cecafa) have decided fans will access the Stadium without paying to watch the semis finals of the Cecafa U-15 Challenge Cup.

Kenya will battle Rwanda in the first semi final game, while Uganda take on Burundi later in the games on Wednesday.

“We decided that the local fans will access the Stadium without paying for the semis and the finals on Friday,” said Esayas Abraham, the ENFF President.

Kenya’s coach Sagar Lakhani has said he expects a very tough game against Rwanda. “I have had the chance of watching the Rwanda team. But my boys have had enough days of rest and we have planned accordingly to counter Rwanda’s strong points,” added Lakhani.

Yves Rwasamanzi, the Rwanda coach made it clear that they have prepared well for the semi final. “We have corrected our mistakes and are ready for the game,” added the coach.

Uganda’s coach made it clear that they have been serious since the tournament started and they are determined to win the trophy.

The tournament, the first of it’s kind in Africa financed by FIFA attracted 10 teams. Other Cecafa members Djibouti and Zanzibar did not send their teams to take part.
