Eritrea’s star striker Ali Suleiman Ibrahim sidelined for Bahir Dar Kenema matches

Eritrean international Ali Suleiman Ibrahim will miss the Addis Ababa Cup final for his club Bahir Dar Kenema FC due to injury.
Bahir Dar Kanema FC ejected Jimma Aba Jifar 8-7 on penalties in the semi final, while Defence of Ethiopia stopped St. George 5-4 on penalties yesterday in the second semi final clash.
Ali Suleiman Ibrahim who has been in good form since joining the Bahir Dar based team in July this year during the CECAFA U-23 Championship picked an injury on September 30th during a match in the Addis Ababa Cup. The team’s medical team says the striker will be side lined for over 20 days.
The Eritrean international who was one of the top scorers at the CECAFA U-23 Championship 2021 in July signed a two year contract the Ethiopian Premier League side, Bahir Dar Kenema FC.
He became the the third Eritrean player to sign for an Ethiopian club after Alexander Samyoma and Robel Teclemichael.
