Eritrean International Henok Goitom netted the lone goal to guide AIK Stockholm to a 1-0 victory against Varbergs in a Swedish League match played last night.

Goitom who took his goal tally to eight goals in the League netted in the 58^th minute at the Friends Arena Stadium.

The win sent AIK Stockholm to 10^th position with 5 points from 26 matches played. Malmoe remain top of the log with 53 points.

“We need to keep working hard for the team as we still have few matches remaining,” added Goitom, also skipper of the Swedish side and the Eritrean national team.

Goitom’s team AIK Stockholm will return to action on November 8^th against third placed Djurgarden FC.
