CAF Executive to discuss Ordinary Assembly planned for Addis Ababa

The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will hold a meeting on Thursday to discuss among other things the Ordinary Assembly slated for December, 2020.

CAF President Ahmad Ahmad arrived in Cairo, Egypt at the CAF headquarters on Sunday to plan for the Executive meeting. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) kept the CAF President in his country home Madagascar for over three months.

The meeting to be held via video-conference will also discuss several important topics related to development of football on the continent as well as the CAF Ordinary General Assembly fixed for December in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

CAF communicated that the meeting will be held via video-conference due to the current restrictions on movements as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 has affected several CAF programmes including the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup.
