Club Licensing Workshop ends in Eritrea
The Eritrea National Football Federation (ENFF) with assistance from CAF successfully held a club licensing workshop in Asmara last week.
Club Licensing is a tool started by the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) for both the development and bench-marking of professional football clubs.
Under the Club Licensing System clubs need to comply with certain criteria to participate in local Leagues/CAF/FIFA competitions.
Edgar Suubi Watson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda FA was selected by CAF to share Uganda’s experience on Club licensing during the workshop that run October 23-24 at the Ambassoira Hotel.
“We are very happy that this workshop took place in Eritrea and we have benefited a lot because Club licensing is a modern tool that we all need to embrace,” said ENFF President Esayas Abraham.
