CECAFA U-20 CHALLENGE CUP: Coach Alemseged warns Sudan

Eritrea’s head coach Efem Alemseged has warned Sudan that they will not find it easy when the two sides face-off today in a Group A match at the on-going Cecafa U-20 Challenge Cup.
“We know Sudan registered a big win against Djibouti in their first match, but we are well prepared to take them on because we know what to do,” said the coach.
Alemseged whose team held hosts Uganda to a 1-all draw in their first match said they will have to be a little sharper in finishing. “We need to take our chances and also be tight in defending,” added the coach.
Yosief Tesfai Mewael who scored against Uganda will be one of Eritrea’s players to watch at the Pece War Memorial Stadium. “I want to score more goals in this tournament to help my team,” said Mewael after the game with Uganda.
Sudan’s coach Mohamed Mousa said they will also be hungry to win their second game. “I know Eritrea is a strong team, but we are prepared for them,” added Mousa.
Eritrea will have to keep a close watch on Sudan’s Abbas Mohamed, Ali Albager Eljamri, Yaser Ammar and Musab Kurdman Elsiddiq who all scored against Djibouti in their opening game.
Uganda Cranes will face Djibouti in the second Group A match in Gulu, while Somalia play their fisrt Group C game against Burundi at the Fufa Technical Center in Njeru.
